**IMPORTANT NOTE** Mitten colors cannot be customized. The names and messages written on the ornament are the only part we personalize.

Adornaments NY Inc is based in New York, and New York customers will have sales tax automatically calculated in their shopping carts.
Turnaround time to get new orders in the mail currently varies by ornament (either 3-5 business days or 1-2 weeks; see individual ornament descriptions for turnaround times), and we ship from New York, zip code 11101.
If you need to change the shipping address after you have placed an order, please cancel the original order and place a new one with correct shipping details.
If you need ornaments shipped to more than one address, place a separate order for each address. We cannot combine shipping for orders placed separately. To do so, we will cancel the original orders so you can place one combined order.
If you would like to "combine shipping," no problem -- place a single order going to a single address and the shopping cart will automatically calculate shipping rates based on the weight of your items and your zip code.
Please note that we cannot be responsible for the performance of the United States Post Office, and we cannot provide tracking information other than what is provided by USPS. Shipping estimates are the days the Post Office estimates until delivery after we complete the ornament(s) according to the turnaround times in the item listings. However, especially during the busy Christmas season, the USPS sometimes is a bit slower than its own estimates.
We are not responsible for items marked "delivered" by the US Postal Service that the customer does not receive. If your item is marked "delivered," but you do not yet have it in hand, the chances are good it will arrive in your mailbox in the next 24 hours. The best way to track the item down as quickly as possible is to call your local post office with the tracking information.
International Customers are responsible for all customs charges.

We will issue a full refund if an ornament arrives broken or if the personalization is in error (our error) and we are unable to replace the ornament with a new one (please contact us within 48 hours of receipt). Snap a photo of the broken ornament and send it to us in the "convo" messenger here on Etsy.
Don't hesitate to be in touch if there are any issues! The easiest thing to do is drop us a "convo" explaining the problem, and a snapshot of the ornament can be included right in that same screen if you need to show us something broken, smeared, etc.
Occasionally, we do make mistakes in the spelling of a name or message. Don't worry! If it's our mistake, we will absolutely either fix it or replace the ornament if we cannot. We do not offer partial refunds in compensation for ornaments that the customer decides to keep. We also cannot refund orders where the customer made an error in their personalization request, though we will work with you to fix the error.
Shipping will not be refunded on any orders as the shipping cost is incurred at the time of original shipment. For ornaments that we fix due to customer error, shipping both ways is the responsibility of the customer.
**Please proofread all personalization requests. If you would like an ornament to look similar to one in a sample photo, please note which sample photo you like best! Often there are different styles in different sample photos for the same ornament, and we want to be sure to get you what you want.**
Please note that the writing is hand personalized on all items. As there are several different Adornamenters working to complete all of our orders, it is impossible to make them exactly alike. Don't worry! We'll always do our best to get you the prettiest ornaments, but there will be variation to writing styles and the like.

Q: Can you make an ornament for me, or change the color or design of your ornament?
A: Unfortunately, the only thing we personalize is the writing -- the names and messages. We cannot change colors or manufacture new ornament styles. Any writing you see in the sample photos can be changed/personalized for you, except in the few cases where the ornament description says a piece of writing is "pre-printed and cannot be changed."
Q: Can you put my name or message on the ornament instead of what is pictured?
A: Yes! That's what we do to personalize the ornaments for you! There are some cases where some writing on the ornaments are pre-printed and cannot be changed, but that is written in the first few lines of the ornament description. Otherwise, put your instructions in the note field at checkout, and we'll go from there!
Q: Will my ornament have the writing in the sample photo?
A: We will only include the writing you request with your order. We can't make assumptions about what we would like without you telling us, and each of our customer's has individual wants and needs for their ornaments.
Q: Where do I put my personalization instructions?
A: First, add the ornament and any others you wish to purchase to your cart. Once you are ready to check out, type your personalization instructions in the "Note" field or "Optional Note to Seller" on the shopping cart screen -- it is usually below the photo of the product on the VERY LAST SCREEN -- before you check out. That keeps all the instructions together with your order. There is only one field per order, if you order more than one ornament, all instructions can go in the same place.
Q: When will my ornament ship?
A: You'll get a notice with tracking information automatically upon shipment to whatever email you have associated with your Etsy account --- and shipping date, tracking info, and more info are always available at any time by clicking on the receipt in your Etsy purchase history so you don't have to wait for a "convo" response! Our turnaround time is generally 3-5 business days, but that can fluctuate throughout the year and will be listed in the product pages.
Q: Why does my order tracking still say pre-transit?
A: At busy times of the year, not all packages are scanned in at the beginning of their journey at the post office and so tracking often won't update until the package is literally on your doorstep. Frustrating, we know! But the longest in advance we ever print shipping labels is the night before they go to the post office, so rest assured that if a label has been created, your order has gone to the post office and is on its way to you.
Q: Can I change the shipping address if I already placed an order?
A: No, we need to cancel the order and have you place a new one with the correct shipping details. You can also drop us a "convo" message, and we'll bump the new order up to the same place in line so there won't be a delay in shipping it out to you.
Q: I got my order and the ornament is broken or misspelled. Will you fix it?
A: Yes, if we made a mistake or the ornament arrived damaged, we will send you a new one the next day if we have them in stock. If we are unable to get the ornament in stock, we will offer you a choice of another style or a full refund if we can't replace the ornament. We will also send you a shipping label to send ornaments with errors back to us.
Q: I made a mistake on my order. Will you fix it?
A: If you made a mistake in your personalization and don't realize it before the order is completed, be in touch. We're happy to make additions or changes as long as you ship the ornament back to us and cover the return shipping.
